When you visit NelsonHillWinery.com, we collect personal information about you when you check out of our store such as your name, address, postal code, phone number, etc. We need this information to process your payment and ship merchandise to you.

INFORMATION SHARING

Under no circumstances will we share any information that we collect with any third parties or web sites. All the information you give us is completely private and used solely for order processing and shipping. If you give us permission to send you marketing emails, then we use your email for that purpose, but never does that email get sold or distributed to any other web site or list.

NEWSLETTER OPT-OUT

If you have chosen to opt into our newsletter or marketing emails and decide to opt out, we have a simple unsubscribe form that will allow you remove you name from our email list. Also, under the member area, you will find a simple form to unsubscribe.

CONSUMER INQUIRIES AND PRIVACY

If you have any questions about your privacy, or want to make changes to your profile, or remove your name from our marketing list, simply send us an email.

All the payment information we collect is done so under SSL – a standard internet security measure. Any data that we store about you is kept behind a secure firewall in our database and is not accessible to the public in any way.

SHIPPING POLICY

ORDER PROCESSING

In general, orders are processed within 48 hours of being placed on the website. Normally, all ground shipments should be delivered within 5 to 10 business days. Please beware of extreme HEAT or COLD across the nation. Under conditions of extreme heat or cold, we may need to delay shipments to ensure the integrity of the wine. We cannot refund for wine damaged due to extreme conditions. If you are sending a gift, we will send the recipient a note telling them we will ship as soon as permissible.

We currently ship to the following states:

Zone 1 – California and Oregon

Zone 2 – Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington and Wyoming

Zone 3 – Indiana, Kansas and Missouri

Zone 4 – District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Virginia

We ship UPS ground. We cannot ship alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

We do not ship directly outside the United States. In addition, due to current state regulations and legal restrictions on shipments of wine specifically, we are unable to ship wine to the following states:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

WARNING

Pregnancy & Alcohol do not mix. Drinking alcoholic beverages, including wine, coolers and beer during pregnancy can cause birth defects.

PREVENTING UNDERAGE PURCHASES

An adult signature is required by law for all deliveries. User must be at least 21 years of age to be a member or receive wine shipments. Proof of age will be verified by delivery carrier. If no one is available to receive the package, a subsequent attempt to deliver will be made. This may result in extra delivery charges which will be the responsibility of the customer. Whenever possible, we encourage you to use a commercial business address to assure the fastest delivery time. If subsequent attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to the logistics center of original shipment. No deliveries will be made to a visibly intoxicated person.

RETURN POLICY

We want you to be completely satisfied! If you have any questions about your shipment or are dissatisfied in any way, please send an email to us at info@NelsonHillWinery.com.

We will work toward a mutually beneficial solution.

In accordance with California State and Federal laws, Nelson Hill Winery cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages with the exception of a corked or flawed wine, or if unordered wine is received as a result of a shipping error. Please report a corked or flawed Nelson Hill Winery product or a shipment error, and arrange for a return, by sending an email to: info@NelsonHillWinery.com.
