2012 Anderson Valley Deep End Vineyard Pinot Noir

Our 2012 pinot noir was released in the fall of 2015 sporting our new label, which showcases our antique French barrel weight, circa 1910, as our new logo. This popular vintage also achieved Gold Medal status – 90 points – an exceptional rating. A dark ruby color in the glass, with aromas of crushed cherries, ripe plums, hints of white chocolate toffee. Medium body, dry-yet-fruity, this pinot delivers flavors of black cherry, cola, black raspberry, and spiced apple. This delicately spiced wine delights with a soft, velvety mouth feel. We think you’ll find our 2012 vintage to be a classic representation of Nelson Hill pinots, pairing beautifully with food, especially pork and fowl,as well as enhancing deserts, chocolate and cheese.
